Job Summary:
Are you a creative problem-solver with strong skills in communication design, retail graphics, and 3D visualization? In this role, you will support Decathlon India’s retail experience transformation by developing clear, scalable communication guidelines and producing high-quality 3D layouts for showrooms, expos, and in-store concepts.
You will work closely with Brand Merchandisers, the Retail Experience Design team, and vendors to ensure visual clarity, brand consistency, and high-quality execution across all retail environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Communication Design & Guideline DevelopmentCreate clear, comprehensive communication guidelines for Brand Merchandisers and store teams to ensure consistent in-store messaging and visual hierarchy.
Design visual communication systems that simplify customer navigation and improve product understanding across categories.
Develop standardized templates, toolkits, and visual frameworks that support scalable communication across stores.
Ensure all communication elements align with the DECATHLON brand platform, tone of voice, colour standards, and sustainability requirements.
2. Retail Graphics & Visual Identity Execution
Design retail communication assets such as layout communications, zone identifiers, offer explanations, wayfinding elements, and in-store storytelling.
Translate complex retail concepts into simple, intuitive visual solutions.
Adapt global brand identity to local requirements while maintaining visual coherence across all formats.
Prepare production-ready artwork files and collaborate with vendors to ensure accuracy in print, colur, material selection, and finishes.
Create detailed 3D visualizations and plans for showrooms, expos, and retail experience concepts.
Develop 3D models of interior layouts, fixtures, communication elements, and merchandising universes to support decision-making.
Produce realistic renders that allow stakeholders to preview store concepts, aisle designs, product zones, and event setups.
Support the Lead Visual Merchandiser in conceptualizing and prototyping aspirational retail spaces through 3D simulations.
Work closely with the Retail Experience Design team to translate merchandising strategies into visual and spatial outputs.
Ensure communication elements integrate seamlessly with layouts, fixtures, and customer-flow strategies.
Participate in the preparation of presentations, visual decks, and concept boards for internal alignment.
Share final artworks, 3D files, and technical specifications with approved vendors.
Conduct checks on print proofs, material samples, and 3D fabrication elements to ensure output quality.
Coordinate with vendors on timelines, feasibility, and execution challenges.
Profile
Profile:
Strong expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
Proficiency in 3D software (SketchUp, Blender, 3ds Max, or similar).
Good understanding of retail communication systems and spatial design.
Knowledge of print processes, materials, and production standards.
Ability to simplify complex information into clear visual formats.
Attention to detail, time management, and collaborative working style.
Work Environment:
Office setting with occasional travel to different company locations for workshops and training sessions.
