Decathlon's purpose is “To move People through the wonders of Sports ”.

Decathlon is looking for a motivated and passionate individual having 3-5 years of experience in the  Decarbonization strategy topic to, support the Sustainable Development Project in the factories where we manufacture our sports goods.

Some of the topics to work on ,as part of the job will be:- 

• Suppliers by emissions, set their own Science Based Targets (SBT) 
• Our key suppliers consume Electricity from Renewable sources Stop and replace Coal usage in factories. 
• To work on the Heating solution with our Supplier 
• To work in detail on water stress , heat stress strategy 
• Environmental Audits of our suppliers Environment Projects with our suppliers Social compliance Assessments of suppliers if needed.

Based in Bangalore and in collaboration with the Project Leader

You will work on Coach supplier sites on “How to input data” / UpdateTo Control the reliability of data in the tool (e.g., Resource Advisor)To solve data issues in the tool (e.g. Resource Advisor)

Set Target: To support the production teams and suppliers to set up the SBT targets Validate target and commitment letters, capitalize the documentation the writing of the trajectory of CO2 emissions reduction

Reduce: Accompany and follow up my Suppliers' 0 Coal project with the Suppliers the progress of the Energy Efficiency project evaluation of the Cost and Return on Investment of Renewable Energy in the country

Network: Work with external (CDP, SBT, RE100, UNFCCC) teams & other industry forums (Other brands, NGOs) to improve the Human and environmental performance in our supply chain.

Communicate: Quarterly the Country/Process Status about the CO2 reduction performance (SBT, RE, Coal, Training & External news…)
