YOUR TEAM

You will be part of the team with DevOps Experts, primarily responsible for the Infrastructure & Cloud Platform Engineering of various Business Units on Digital (E-commerce), Retail, SupplyChain and much more. We are responsible for providing a robust, scalable, efficient and flexiblePlatform for our users. We take a lot of pride in showcasing our technical expertise andinnovating/ automating things which can save time, effort and money.

YOUR ROLE

• As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, implement and maintain DevOps continuous delivery pipelines to manage from code build to deployment and cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as code practices to meet dynamic business needs.

• Operate, Administrate and Support AWS & GCP Accounts.

• Creation and provisioning of infrastructure in the Cloud.

• Manage and operate the infrastructure and configuration of applications with a focus on automation and Infrastructure as code.

• Support & troubleshoot scalability, high availability, performance, monitoring, backup and restores of different environments and creating documentation for the same.

• Deploy, Automate, Support, Troubleshoot and Maintain services/applications

• Evaluate performance trends and expected changes in demand and capacity, and establish the appropriate scalability plans

• Develop innovative solutions to complex business and technology problems.

• Manage and run application servers, web servers, databases, batch jobs, file transfers, monitoring tools.

• Collaborate with other engineering teams to implement operational solutions while defining, adhering to industry best practices.

• Facilitate timely and relevant communication of topics managed/ escalated incidents to impacted stakeholders.

• Incident / Service and Change request management and Ensure that SLAs are met in executing operational tasks.

• Develop existing comprehensive monitoring solutions to provide full visibility to the different platform components using tools and services like Grafana, ELK, Dynatrace, Datadog,  Zabbix.

• Write, update and enhance documentation (KB's, SOPs, runbooks, playbooks) around troubleshooting and feature details.

• Collaborate with dev teams to refine in-application diagnostics (e.g., error logging and reporting) and consolidate data across cloud-based services.

• Must be willing to work 5 days a week but flexible shifts (8 AM -10 PM). Also to be available for on-call / weekend support depending on the business requirements. 
  
  
  REQUIRED SKILLS 
  
  

• Proven development and/or DevOps experience deploying and maintaining multi-tiered infrastructure and applications.

• Strong hands-on experience in Windows/Linux and Cloud native environment.

• Proficiency with version control systems like GitHub, GitLab, etc.

• Understanding of branching strategies, merging, rebasing, and resolving conflicts.

• Good Experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Github Actions etc.

• Understanding of declarative configuration and automation of infrastructure provisioning.

• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, Docker Swarm,  Amazon ECS.

• Knowledge of AWS security best practices, encryption mechanisms, key management, and compliance standards.

• Expertise in AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) for managing user permissions, roles, and policies.

• Exposure in designing and implementing collaborative solutions on Cloud and DevSecOps.

• Strong experience in automating Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Agile practices for a highly scalable system. 

• Perform analysis of the current practices and design and implement best practices and emerging concepts in CI/CD landscape. 

• Experience with Docker, Microservices , Container Deployment and Service orchestration with Kubernetes.

• Good understanding and hands-on experience on Database Management/ administrations tasks for PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB etc.

• Native OS packaging knowledge.

• Experience with configuration management tools as Ansible/ Puppet.

• Experience with Infrastructure automation (Terraform, Cloud formation) .

• Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus and the ELK stack is essential.
