Project: Accounting Specialist, Retail Scope

You will be a key contributor within the Decathlon India Finance department, joining the Accounting Team to manage the Recording, Controlling, and Reporting of financial transactions specifically for our Retail operations.

Your role is twofold:

Enablers: We ensure reliable data through accurate accounting and compliance with standards, enabling informed business decisions.

Guardians: We safeguard the fiscal, and internal compliance of our Retail financials, aiming for a "zero-finding" result in all internal and external audits. 

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will:

 - Ensure reliable accounting practices and guarantee compliance with both Group and local accounting standards within your designated scope.

- Actively contribute to monthly and annual financial closing processes by executing daily and closing-specific tasks.

- Record, control, and report financial transactions within your area of responsibility.

- Manage the smooth execution of internal and external audits.

- Implement action plans to improve efficiency and accounting quality within your scope.

- Ensure the implementation of Internal Control Policies for the Accounting Domain within your perimeter.

• Experience & Education:

- B.Com or M.Com (preferred) with 3–5 years of experience in corporate finance or audit.

- Proven track record of managing financial data with precision.
