Mission
Please note that this role is initially a one-year contract through our payroll partner. We view this as a growth opportunity; based on your performance and our evolving business needs, we will explore options for extension or a transition to a permanent role.
Be a strategic partner to the business leader ( hiring manager) and the people leader (HR director or HRBP)
Advise hiring managers on role definition, ideal candidate profiles, and job briefings, particularly for strategic, complex, or newly created roles.
Co-create and implement local recruitment and employer branding strategies with the TA Manager
Guide leaders on assessment approaches, and sourcing strategies, especially for hard-to-fill roles.
Support in processes when legal, market, or volume-specific contexts require it.
Ensure DE&I principles are embedded from the start
Ensure all recruitment activities are inclusive, fair, and consistent with Decathlon’s values, DE&I commitments, and hiring principles
Ensure use of global frameworks and templates
Use the Applicant Tracking System to track requisitions, feedback, and hiring stages.
Coordinate structured interviews and assessments using validated, objective evaluation methods.
Lead or contribute to offer preparation and onboarding coordination as needed.
Support early-career talent initiatives and school relations in the absence of a campus lead.
Maintain and activate talent pools for recurring or strategic roles to ensure future readiness.
Monitor sourcing effectiveness and proactively identify actions to close talent gaps.
Own the quality of the candidate experience across the entire process, ensuring transparency, communication, and timely feedback for every candidate.
Regularly track, collect qualitative data and communicate to relevant stakeholders on global and local KPIs to evaluate progress and identify areas for improvement
Act as talent ambassador and catalyst for continuous improvement
Contribute to operational workforce planning and recruitment prioritization at country or branch level.
Partner with external vendors (e.g., agencies) to ensure alignment, quality, and values fit.
Represent Decathlon’s talent culture internally and externally - sharing best practices, co-creating improvements, and contributing to our reputation as an inclusive, human-centered employer.
Profile

Planned and Organised and been pro-active with candidates, hiring mangers and the process
Bring structure in a complex environment to be efficient and effective in role closures.
Experience
3-5 years of relevant experience in sourcing, end to end recruitment, and campus drives
Prior experience in retail or omni channel organisations.
A Masters degree in human resource
