Mission


Responsibility 1 - I Ensure people safety and asset security

I measure & mitigate the internal and external risks of my site and communicate the associated action plan 

I ensure local Risk mapping on safety & Security ; Develop action plans to decrease frequency and/or severity of risks.

I carry out operational safety & security diagnostics ensuring the country standards are met.

I prepare and keep my store ready in case of a crisis.

Design and implement an effective evacuation process 

I design and communicate an evacuation procedure adapted to my location as per country standards

I update the procedure according to the evacuation drills’ debriefings and the evolution of the store (new mass plan, repair work in progress…)

Ensure safety training (according to country standard)  

I ensure the full safety training path in my store is well followed,measured and documented (safety induction, Fire and first aid, , evacuation drills, electrical awareness)

I train, co-validate with Store Leader, and manage strong Captain of the Day (team)


Responsibility 2 - I animate the store efficiency to boost business

I ensure store layout optimization

I organize the spaces of the store to simplify and facilitate the work of teammates like delivery efficiency/ inventory efficiency.

I organize the commercial areas to simplify the customer experience.

I ensure team optimization

I work with department managers to ensure the right hours at the right time for process efficiency.

I create  the “ efficiency  mindset” of my team via training, building habits.

I facilitate and support in the continuous improvement of the main processes

I guarantee the effectiveness of seasonal relocations outside customer opening (Move)

I set up a quick, qualitative and return on shelves in my store (delivery)+ trial room products.

I facilitate the cashing process first and all processes out of floor (Cash tills) in collaboration with the customer satisfaction manager.


Responsibility 3 - I ensure the stock availability and effectiveness of flows process

I animate the stock control to guarantee accuracy (new products and circularity)

I ensure training of teammates in stock management and animate inventory indicators (Stock reliability, rupture etc.)

I guarantee the development and application of the shrinkage action plan

I ensure good stock flows and cash  management process

I monitor cash flow processes and train teams on CRM and cash management.

I ensure the follow up of flows (direct orders, defectives,( writedown), C&C, R&C, SPD, circular etc) and develop actions plans


Responsibility 4 - I am responsible to manage the environmental impact of my store

Ensure the implementation of the sustainable development action plans

I implement and manage sustainable development and circular economy actions, including waste recycling, energy efficiency, hanger return, and store resell, while tracking related savings, revenue, and costs.

I lead sustainability initiatives, events, and monthly reporting, ensuring accurate data management and active teammate and customer engagement (e.g., World Cleanup Day, Bike to Work Week, Earth Hour)

I lead Eco-mobility and eco-friendly initiatives on my site:

My cleaning / maintenance provider uses eco-labeled products

My store Contribute to the reduction of the transport impact of customers and teammates by setting up secure means for eco-mobility (ex: secure bike shelter)

I guarantee if possible,  the presence of electric charging stations and carpooling parking in my car park & solar power.


Responsibility 4 - I ensure Good Store Image for Customer

I am responsible for maintenance of the store

Ensure all maintenance contracts meet country and Decathlon standards.

Plan maintenance and reinvestment schedules, including a yearly preventive maintenance calendar.

Enforce safety in maintenance tasks with risk assessments and plans.

I ensure risk management (Third party audits)

Conduct third-party audits for safety-critical systems (e.g., fire safety, elevators) and ensure compliance with vendor/legal documentation.

The closure is done 100% and reports are archived.

Legal documents and Vendor management

Ensure all relevant documents (legal, contracts, and other key documents) are available and archived to run the store and provide traceability

Ensure all basic wages/ compliances are given to vendors - housekeeping & security and archived at the store. 


Responsibility 6 - I manage and optimise the operating cost of the store

I optimize investment efficiency and align budgets with FC for accurate P&L tracking.. 

I animate the operating expenses of the store to create, increase or protect value

I guarantee the payment to date of my providers and the good follow-up in GEX
