Mission

Key Responsibilities   

1. Pre-Season Supply Planning Assistance:   

○ Support the team in gathering and analyzing planned quantities for upcoming sports seasons.   

○ Assist in evaluating supply schemes (MTO, MTS, lead times) and capacity constraints with suppliers.   

2. Component & Inventory Management Support: 

 ○ Track material/component availability for production schedules. 

 ○ Assist in monitoring inventory levels and aging stock to help prevent shortages or overstocking. 

 3. In-Season Production Monitoring: 

 ○ Help track delivery visibility and order statuses across logistics and production channels. 

 ○ Support tracking of End-of-Life (EOL) transitions and seasonal inventory shifts. 

 4. Data Management & Pricing Precision: 

 ○ Maintain reliable supply data, lead times, and master data in Decathlon digital tools (e.g., Tableau, DPCP). 

 ○ Perform weekly data checks to spot discrepancies or alerts. 

 5. Supplier Performance & Collaboration: 

 ○ Participate in regular performance reviews with local suppliers. 

 ○ Support continuous improvement initiatives for lead-time reduction and supply agility. 

 Key Learning Outcomes & Skills Gained 

 ● Hands-on experience with S&OP / S&OE process flows. 

 ● Exposure to ERP/Digital supply tools and supply analytics. 

 ● Strong understanding of industrial supply chain dynamics and supplier coordination. 

 Qualifications & Requirements 

 ● Basic understanding of supply chain concepts (MOQ, Lead Times, Inventory Control). 

 ● Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets and analytical tools. 

 ● Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
